Back to the Ship!

UConn is back in the NCAA Men's Basketball National Title game. This comes after a post-season ban last year due to a history of poor grades. Kevin Ollie begun coaching last year and this is first NCAA tournament as head coach and he has done a spectacular job (genuinely optimistic and lively). While it's the first Final Four for Coach Ollie, it's not the first for three players that were part of the 2011 National Championship (Napier, Giffey, and Olander). The commitment to stay from those players has definitely paid off. Don't try to compare the 2011 team to this year's team though; the entire makeup is different.
Look at what I saw the other day (foreshadowing in reality!)...

UConn against UK for the Championship. Should be a great matchup. Just have to make sure Aaron Harrison doesn't get the ball late in the game. Let's go Huskies!
And looking into forward to next year (it's never too early!), Ryan Boatright showed his talent on the court today as well as Terrence Samuel. The backcourt looks to be one of the best next year. And if DeAndre Daniels stays for his senior year, the team is in great shape!
I know where I'll be for the Championship game on Monday. At my apartment, just like I had been for the previous tournament games. Superstition: It's part of the game.
Go UConn Women's Basketball tomorrow night! I never give enough credit to Geno and the women huskies!
