How It's Made

The past weekend, I watched multiple episodes of "How It's Made". For those who have never seen the show, it's a show the process of an object being made with one narrator. While it may seem dull, each 30 minute episode contains the making of three to four products; objects range from scooters to tennis balls to Tasers to wagon wheels.
I find it interesting seeing the manufacturing methods used in massive production plants. It is also alluring to see products that take elegant, diligent skills and more time. The show is a mesmerizing way to learn about other production cycles that you usually don't see; it could be useful to explore and see them as it may be beneficial in your own life/career.
What is more fun than watching the result of hours/months/years of process improvements all summed up in 5-10 minutes? It has always been an obsession of mine.
